Concierge Staff

Concierge staff is one of the key roles in building management. Unlicensed Concierge staff have a different role to a concierge security officer. As a concierge staff member, concierge staff members can assist in many ways to provide a professional package for building management. Concierge staff are a key partner to building security and the building manager.

Some of the duties and roles concierge staff can assist in but are not limited to:

  • Greet tenants and guests
  • Answer telephones and provide customer service
  • Activating and de activating access card readers
  • Assist Security
  • Assist Building Manager
  • Organization of meetings with the committee
  • Onsite personal assistant
  • Keep a log of events, email security and building manager
  • Inspect premises with building manager including fire inspections
  • Raise the alert if a situation poses a potential treat to property or residents
  • Send notices to residents of updates in strata plan

  • Be honest and reliable
  • Be proactive and eager to please at all times
  • Maintain strict confidentiality at all times
  • Perform their duties discreetly, efficiently and effectively
Concierge staff key role is customer service and working together with close partners in the building to ensure the building is run in the most effective manner as possible. As a concierge staff member is limited to specific duties, concierge staff can assist where need be and is there at all times when required help.
